Location

The Still Warrington is located in a rural area south of Kilkenny. It is located at the end of a cul de sac road which also serves Warrington Equesterian Centre. The River Nore bounds the site to the east with a wall to the south &  west. The entrance to the Still Warrington is served with mature trees on either side creating an avenue effect. The Still Warrington a five minute drive from Kilkenny City. Kilkenny City is situated in the south east of Ireland where it is 1 hour from Waterford, 1.5 hours from Dublin and 2 hours from Cork.

Kilkenny City

The ancient city of Kilkenny was named after a 6th century monk St Canice. His
memory lives on in the beautifully restored St Canices Cathedral, built overlooking
the city in the thirteenth century. Kilkenny Castle , one of the most magnificent
castles in Ireland was built by the Normans who arrived in the city during the
12th century. Kilkenny is a medieval city of 24,000 people, acclaimed internationally
as a centre for craft and design. technology, tourism, craft and design and food
processing are the main industries in the county.

This medieval city is characterised by many beautifully restored buildings and
winding slipways - it is small and compact enough to explore on foot, yet full of
fascinating historical buildings and contemporary shops, design galleries and
restaurants. With a wonderful nightlife scene with great entertainment & pubs
Kilkenny has everything to offer.
